Yoann Bonato (Citroën) remains leader of WRC 2 despite losing more than a minute on the last course after seeing his front right tire slip away. He remains 8th in the general classification with half a minute ahead of Stéphane Sarrazin (Hyundai), not registered in WRC 2, while Guillaume de Mevius (Citroën) regained the advantage over Adrien Fourmaux in the last special by 5 seconds .

Veiby is arrested in the special. The VW driver appears to be changing a wheel on his Polo GTI R5. The Norwegian is in 4th place in WRC 2.

Bonato lost almost 2 minutes following his tire problem. The Frenchman could nevertheless retain the lead in the category given his lead over his compatriot Fourmaux.

Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) was 2 tenths ahead of Thierry Neuville in SS12 of the Monte-Carlo Rally which concluded this third stage. The leader of the event finished one second behind Ott Tänak (Toyota) who remained undefeated this Saturday. Kris Meeke was closest to his teammate, half a second behind.

Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) limited his delay to 4 seconds on Ott Tänak by beating Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota).

Sébastien Ogier returns to service with a lead of 4”3 over Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Loeb remains on the provisional podium with a little more than 2 seconds ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Ott Tänak came back 15 seconds behind his Finnish teammate. Kris Meeke remains isolated in 6th place ahead of Gus Greensmith (Ford), still leading the WRC 2 Pro.

Ogier gains 2 tenths over Neuville while Tänak takes his 4th scratch of the day in as many specials. The gap between the rally leader and the Hyundai driver is measured at 4″3 at the end of this 3rd stage.
