Andreas Mikkelsen (Volkswagen) and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) regained ground on Rally Poland leader Ott Tänak (Ford) in the 14th special. The Norwegian signed the scratch in 13'27''2 at the end of the 25,27km with a tenth ahead of the New Zealander, while the Estonian finished 1''5 behind.

Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen) was ahead of Ott Tänak by a tenth and was ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) by almost four seconds. Craig Breen (Citroën) finished eight seconds behind the Finn, but the Irishman gained six seconds from his teammate Stéphane Lefebvre.

Ott Tänak now has a 16s lead over Andreas Mikkelsen who maintains a lead of seven seconds over Hayden Paddon. Thierry Neuville and Jari-Matti Latvala complete the top five, the Finn ahead of teammate Sébastien Ogier by four seconds. Stéphane Lefebvre only has a five-second lead over his teammate Craig Breen. Éric Camilli and Mads Ostberg still complete the top ten.

Neuville finished 3″9 off the provisional scratch. The Belgian is ahead of Ogier by a little more than a second. Camilli and Lefebvre mark time by finishing more than 15 seconds behind the reference time. The Frenchman from Citroën finds himself 14s behind Ogier overall.

Latvala failed 1″4 behind his teammate Mikkelsen. Tänak gives up 1″5 to the Norwegian but maintains a lead of 16″5 at the head of the event.

Ostberg fails almost 12s behind Mikkelsen. Paddon is the closest with a tenth behind Mikkelsen.

Mikkelsen took the best time in 13'27″4. That’s 4″2 better than Ogier.

Ogier sets a first time of 13'32″4. Sordo fails at 4″3. “It’s very hot in the car, but my time was much better than this morning,” commented the Frenchman.

The crews were only able to carry out one tire change, with the second stage break not including any assistance.

Ogier prepares to contest Stanczyki's second pass. Tänak took the scratch this morning in 13'40″7.
