Ypres Rally 2022
Ott Tänak (Hyundai) clings to his first place in the 2022 Ypres Rally (Belgium). The Estonian won the penultimate special of the competition, and even if the gap which separates him from his rival for the Elfyn Evans (Toyota) victory is minimal (half a second), it is enough to increase his lead in the general classification to 7″2.
Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) gained a place thanks to the accident and the retirement of Adrien Fourmaux (M-Sport Ford) while chasing fourth position occupied by Oliver Solberg (Hyundai).

Ott Tänak takes the best time of this SS by 3 tenths on Rovanperä! Overall, the Estonian remains first with 7″2 ahead of Elfyn Evans.
Elfyn Evans took the 2nd best time, 2 tenths behind Rovanperä.
Quite logically, Oliver Solberg does not push his mount too far. The Swede, assured since the accident at Fourmaux of finishing at the foot of the podium, finished the special 16″2 behind.
