Teemu Suninen fails to beat Ostberg's time on this SS2. The Finn concedes 1″4 on the Norwegian. Gryazin remains leader in the category with a 1″ margin over Ostberg and 4″5 over Suninen.
Ostberg admits to having “almost lost the brakes at the end of the race”.
Mads Ostberg (Citroën C3) is faster than Nikolay Gryazin (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5), previous holder of the reference time in this SS2 in WRC2. The Norwegian set the best time in 13'48″4, one second ahead of the Russian.
Teemu Suninen is a little too aggressive on a left-right sequence, but can continue his journey with the Ford Fiesta Rally2 – M-Sport.
Problems for Andreas Mikkelsen in WRC2. The driver of the Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo is stopped on the side of the road after a spin.
Another special victory for Thierry Neuville who widens the gap a little further at the top of the general standings. The Belgian is still leader of the event with 7 ahead of Elfyn Evans and 7 ahead of Sébastien Ogier. Ott Tänak and Craig Breen complete the Top 12
