Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) secured his 4th victory of the WRC season by winning Wales Rally GB with around ten seconds ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota). Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) completes the podium ahead of Craig Breen (Citroën) who held on to Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) for 4 seconds. Andreas Mikkelsen follows his teammate at 1”5 with 2”5 in the 3rd i20 WRC driven by Hayden Paddon. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) failed 3 seconds behind the New Zealander.

Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda) scored his first victory in WRC 2 by winning ahead of Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) and Gus Greensmith (Ford). Jari Huttunen (Hyundai) and Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) complete the Top 5 in the category.

Neuville maintains the lead in the championship with 7 points ahead of Ogier. Tänak follows at 22 units.

Toyota increases its lead in the manufacturers' championship by now having a 20-point lead over Hyundai. M-Sport is 24 units behind the Korean manufacturer.

Neuville should retain the championship lead with 7 points ahead of Ogier. Tänak is further behind with 23 units behind. But there are still 2 events left on the calendar with the Rally of Catalonia and Australia.

Ogier wins Wales Rally GB with a 10″6 lead over Latvala! The five-time WRC champion improved Neuville’s time by 3″5.

Tänak ranks 5″9 behind Evans. The Toyota driver only secured 19th place after starting again in Rally 2 this morning following his retirement the day before due to a mechanical problem while he was leading the event.

Evans improves Tidemand's time by 17s. The M-Sport driver can only secure a Top 20 after his retirement in the first stage even though he won his national event last year.

Tidemand secures 2nd place in WRC 2 and 10th position in the general classification by reaching the finish of the special.
