In WRC2, Mads Ostberg (Citroën C3) set the best time ahead of Teemu Suninen (Ford Fiesta) and took the lead in the category ahead of the Finn and Nikolay Gryazin (Volkswagen Polo GTI), who finished with a tire off the rim after a landing on a jump.

Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans (Toyota) jointly set the best time on the third special stage of the 2021 Croatia Rally.

The duo from the Japanese firm completed the 10,10 km of the ES in 5'32"3, beating Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and Craig Breen (Hyundai) by nine tenths. Ott Tänak (Hyundai) conceded 6″1 and set the 6th fastest time ahead of Adrien Fourmaux (M-Sport Ford).

In the general classification, Neuville remains leader with a 6″8 margin over Evans, while Ogier is 11″3 behind the Belgian. The gap begins to widen with Tänak, 4th at 23″5, ahead of Breen (+31″4) and Fourmaux (+38″1).
