Rally Sweden 2020
In WRC2, the Nordics are celebrating, with Mads Ostberg, Ole Christian Veiby and the returning Pontus Tidemand in the leading trio. The Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux is at the foot of the podium, although with a big margin behind.
It took only a 2,80 km special stage to reverse positions between Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) and Ott Tänak (Hyundai) at the 2020 Swedish Rally. The Finnish debutant lost a precious handful of seconds during a stall, while the Estonian achieved his second consecutive scratch time.
Behind, no changes took place, apart from the voluntary slowdown of Craig Breen so as not to overtake his leader Thierry Neuville at Hyundai and the absence of Jari-Matti Latvala due to engine problems.

General ranking after SS5:
Craig Breen deliberately slowed down at the end of the special so as not to overtake his teammate and Hyundai leader Thierry Neuville. The Irishman remains behind the Belgian for less than a second.
Jari-Matti Latvala remained at the service park this afternoon to investigate the engine failures his Toyota Yaris suffered this morning. The Finn hopes to restart in Rally2 tomorrow.

Here we go for Thierry Neuville.
There is not an ounce of ice or snow on this stage.
We're back for the brief Friday afternoon special. It barely reaches 2,80 km; It's rather a super-special, we grant you that. Departure scheduled for 15 p.m.!
