The provisional classification of SS8:
Huttunen remains at the top of WRC 2 with a 13s lead over Greensmith, the fastest in WRC 2 on this special. Loubet remains on the provisional podium 13s behind the Briton with an 8s lead over Gilbert.
The crews will now head to the Laukaa special which will be contested from 15:13 p.m. over a course of 11,76km.
Teemu Suninen (Ford) took the scratch in the 7,39km Äänekoski-Valtra with a time of 3’27”4. His compatriots are the closest, Juho Hänninen (Toyota) at 2 tenths while Toyota drivers Jari-Matti Latvala and Esapekka Lappi follow at 9 tenths. Mads Ostberg (Ford) and Craig Breen (Citroën) follow just over a second behind. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) finished 4”8 behind.
The Finns now monopolize the provisional podium. Jari-Matti Latvala maintains a lead of 1”6 over his teammate Esapekka Lappi. Teemu Suninen took 3rd place, 8 tenths ahead of Mads Ostberg. Craig Breen follows with half a second behind the Norwegian. Juho Hänninen remains 6th with 5 seconds ahead of Kris Meeke (Citroën) who resists the return of Elfyn Evans (Ford) by 4 tenths. Thierry Neuville remains 9th.
Suninen takes the scratch with a time of 3’27″4, 2 tenths ahead of Hänninen. The 4 Finns are at the forefront, Suninen rising to 3rd place in the general classification with 8 tenths ahead of Ostberg. “There’s still a long way to go but I’m happy so far. I hope we will have more good times like this. »
Ostberg signs the 5th provisional time, 1″1 from the provisional scratch and takes a tenth from Breen who is half a second behind the Norwegian private driver.
Lappi signs the 3rd time tied with Latvala, being 9 tenths behind Hänninen. The Finns are still in the lead in this special. The gap between the leaders remains 1″6. “It appears the fight continues. I thought I was losing time because the road becomes more and more muddy with each passage. »
Meeke finished 4″6 behind Hänninen’s provisional scratch, setting the same time as Neuville. “I was in great difficulty in this special. » Evans is 4 tenths behind the Northern Irishman's 7th place.
Hänninen takes the provisional scratch with 9 tenths ahead of Latvala thanks to a time of 3’27″6. “We’re better than this morning. » The Toyota driver is 4s behind Breen in the general classification.
Breen finished 3 tenths behind Latvala and 2 tenths behind Tänak. “I had more grip than I thought. It wasn't too bad. » The Citroën driver is fighting for 3rd place against Ostberg and Suninen.

Sordo is still the slowest with 7″8 behind the provisional scratch and 4s behind his teammate Neuville. “The car is good but I’m still off the pace. »
The rain has just stopped at the end of the special but the roads remain wet.
Tänak finished just a tenth behind Latvala. There is still a long way to go to get back into the top ten in the general classification even if he is in 11th place. “It was difficult in places because the grip is bad. »
Latvala improves the benchmark with a time of 3'28"5, or 3"7 better than Neuville who finds himself 37s behind the leader in the general classification.
