Rally Sweden 2020
Thank you for following us this Saturday. Stay tuned to AUTOhebdo.fr to read the drivers' statements and see you tomorrow for the Power Stage!
The brief Torsby Sprint distance (2,80km) was enough to create a change in the overall standings. While Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) set his first scratch time of the Swedish weekend, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) regained his third place against Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota). The gap, however, remains slight (half a second).
With one stage remaining, Elfyn Evans (Toyota) is 17″2 ahead of Ott Tänak (Hyundai) and did the hardest to aim for victory.
SS9 ranking:
General classification after SS9:
Elfyn Evans increases her lead with the 4th time. He now has a 17″ lead over Ott Tänak before the final special on Sunday at 2:12 p.m.
A short fifth time for Ott Tänak, 1″1 behind Thierry Neuville.
Another exchange of places between Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä! The Frenchman gets back in front of the Finn for half a second!
Sébastien Ogier also lost 3 tenths on Thierry Neuville.
Esapekka Lappi laughs with his co-driver Janne Ferm but misses the best time by 3 tenths.
Thierry Neuville sets the best provisional time with 9 tenths ahead of Takamoto Katsuta.
Craig Breen did not attack too much and brings up the rear, so as not to worry his teammate and leader Thierry Neuville.
Teemu Suninen loses 7 tenths on Takamoto Katsuta.
Takamoto Katsuta is the first driver to start.
We'll meet again for the last special of the day. Torsby Sprint, just 2,80km long, will be contested in wet but non-frozen conditions from 15 p.m.
