Seventh time for Ricciardo ahead of Leclerc, Sainz and Ocon
The drivers stormed Mugello to record a first time. Hamilton in the lead from his first attempt. He clocked a lap in 1'15"144, 59 thousandths ahead of Bottas. Verstappen relegated to four tenths

End of Q2. Norris, Kvyat, Räikkönnen, Vettel and Grosjean eliminated. In the lead, we find Lewis Hamilton ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen. The Renaults of Daniel Ricciardo and Estaban Ocon are 5th and 7th. Beautiful Q2 from Charles Leclerc, eighth on the timesheet.

Five minutes from the end, Hamilton dominated the session ahead of Bottas and Verstappen. Albon and Ricciardo complete the Top 5. On the French side, Ocon is 8th, Grosjean 14th

Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo), George Russell (Williams), Nicholas Latifi (Williams) and Kevin Magnussen (Haas) are the other four drivers eliminated from this Q1

At the dawn of these qualifications, Valtteri Bottas starts as the favorite to take pole position. The Finn set the best time during each of the free practice sessions. Lewis Hamilton has come closer and will also fight like Max Verstappen, very fast at Mugello. Pierre Gasly could put in a great performance. In testing, the Frenchman showed himself comfortable at the wheel of his car and could make his appearance in the Top 5 at the end of qualifying.
