Hamilton: “I'm always on the limit, it's hard to find the perfect balance on a lap. At turn 1 I missed the apex just a little bit… Every time I go out on track I can win in one place and lose in another, it's never perfect. »
Bottas: “The feeling was good but in the end the time wasn't there, I don't know what to say. »
Verstappen: “My lap was pretty good even if I lacked grip on the rear axle. It was a correct qualification. We have a good compromise for the race. At least we'll start on the right side of the track. »
Note that Alex Albon has recovered well from his accident on Friday. He finished six tenths behind his teammate.
Valtteri Bottas fails almost three tenths behind his teammate while Max Verstappen is four tenths behind.
Lewis Hamilton sets the new circuit record in 1'27"264, six tenths better than last year.
Alex Albon ranks 4th, Pérez 5th, Ricciardo 6th, Ocon 7th, Gasly 8th, Norris 9th and Kvyat 10th.

Bottas and Verstappen are also improving.
Pierre Gasly does not improve, however.

Pérez put four tenths behind Gasly, he really seems between the two worlds.
The soft tires are slower than the medium ones, the times confirm this.
