Barcelona Tests 2018
The summary of the day will be available in a few minutes on our website, with the complete rankings. Live text will resume tomorrow at 9 a.m. for the third day of driving of the week.
And it's the end of the day in Spain after these departure procedures. Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) set the new track record, established this morning in 1'18"047, and completed 165 laps with his RB14.
Still a tricky day for McLaren, with more than six and a half hours lost for an engine change on Fernando Alonso's McLaren MCL33. Romain Grosjean (Haas) also lost a little running time, following an oil leak detected on his VF-18.

It was at turn 12 that Charles Leclerc exited.
Red flag! Charles Leclerc (Sauber) is in the gravel.
Alonso passes the 50 lap mark.
Another returning driver: Fernando Alonso! If Grosjean lost around three hours of driving, the Spaniard and McLaren lost more than six hours on the track.

Ricciardo overtakes Leclerc in the lap count this Wednesday. Best time and most laps covered, the day for the Australian and Red Bull Racing couldn't have been better.
It is not certain that we will see Haas on track again this Wednesday. The American team repairs an oil leak on Romain Grosjean's VF-18 and there are only thirty minutes of running left.

Daniel Ricciardo is back in action. The Australian, still holder of the new track record, is however no longer credited with the greatest number of laps covered today, since Charles Leclerc has crossed the 150 lap mark.
Sergey Sirotkin signs a final run in 1'23"563, but remains last in the ranking and a distance from Charles Leclerc who precedes him in 1'20"918.
Another hour of driving in Spain for this marathon day on Wednesday. Bottas is on track with the Mercedes W09, as are Räikkönen, Hülkenberg, Leclerc and Sirotkin. Charles Leclerc has just completed his 138th lap and equaled Daniel Ricciardo's total.
Räikkönen, Hülkenberg, Hartley and Leclerc are on track. Esteban Ocon has just dived into the pit lane.
McLaren says it hopes to come out before the end of the day scheduled in one hour and ten minutes.
