Rally Turkey 2018
Mads Ostberg (Citroën) and Elfyn Evans had to stop just before the finish of SS6 of Rally Turkey after damaging their suspension in the same place. If the Welshman was already outside the Top 10 after his mechanical problems earlier in the day, the Norwegian was still in 5th place after suffering two punctures in the previous special.
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) responded to Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) by signing the scratch with a time of 15'59''7 at the end of 21,75km and took back almost 9 seconds from the Frenchman, almost tied with Esapekka Lappi (Toyota). Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) followed 13 seconds ahead of teammate Ott Tänak and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) lost a lot of time, more than 18 seconds behind his Belgian teammate. Craig Breen (Citroën) follows 22 seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen (M-Sport).
Andreas Mikkelsen retains the lead in Rally Turkey but is now less than 2 seconds ahead of his teammate Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Ogier loses a place for a second behind the Belgian. Jari-Matti Latvala remains in 4th place while Hayden Paddon climbs to 5th place ahead of Ott Tänak and Esapekka Lappi. Craig Breen remains 8th ahead of Teemu Suninen.

Ostberg stops in the special. The Citroën driver seems to have broken his suspension... The Norwegian in turn tries to park his vehicle on the side of the road.
The footage shows Evans hit a rock while staying on course. The M-Sport driver then spun and found himself going against the flow of traffic.
Evans tries to park his Ford on the shoulder so as not to disturb the competitors. It's a very complicated day for the M-Sport driver.
Evans has just broken his suspension against an embankment. The M-Sport driver seems stuck in the middle of the road! The Welshman gets out of the car…
Latvala ranks 13s behind Neuville. The Toyota driver is 13s behind the Top 3 completed by Ogier. “”Thierry did an incredible special. The ground is very loose and the course very brittle, these are perhaps not the best conditions for this car. The rally is long and a lot can happen. »
Lappi is closest to Neuville with 8″7 behind the Belgian and a tenth ahead of Ogier. The Finn is less than 2 seconds behind his teammate Tänak overall. “I'm doing my best, but there's something wrong but I won't say what it is. »
It is now Ingram who leads WRC 2 with 6 seconds ahead of Tidemand and 23 seconds over Kopecky. The two Skoda drivers had to change 2 wheels and had no spares for the rest of the course.
Tänak fails almost 16s behind Neuville. The Estonian is a good distance from the two championship leaders. “We lack grip. There's not much to do at the moment. »
Neuville finished with a time of 15'59″7. “We must remain careful because the roads are too rough. It's even more complicated being first on the road. »
Ogier still loses ground against Neuville by being 4s behind the Hyundai driver in the 3rd split.

Neuville set off on the second pass of Ula where he had scored the scratch this morning.
It's Tempestini's turn to be stopped in SS5! It is now very difficult to know the future classification of the category, Ingram being more than a minute behind the Romanian at the start of the special.
The crews are about to set off from Ula, 21,75km long. Neuville took the scratch in the first run in 16'14″8.
