Prema Racing and Dynasma have just announced their partnership. An alliance which will benefit the Italian team on a sporting level, since the British firm will provide them with brand new simulators. A state-of-the-art system called DMG-1, which should be delivered to Venice by the beginning of 2024.
“Simulation technology is a key aspect of motorsport operations on many levels, declares Rene Rosin – Team Principal of Prema – in a press release. Our foundation aims to train younger generations of pilots to help them develop their skills and become true professionals.
But simulation has also become essential in terms of racing car development, both from a setup perspective, and for a wide range of projects. By partnering with Dynisma, we want to take a step forward in all areas, and we have identified the DMG-1 simulator as the ideal choice to achieve our goals. »
The technology used makes it possible to integrate any type of chassis or prototype into the simulator, which makes the virtual driving session useful for evaluating the performance of new parts. It will also be used by the team to accelerate the development of its cars next season.
“Dynisma’s mission has always been to create the most immersive simulators in the world, comments Ashley Warne – CEO of the supplier. I am delighted that we have agreed this relationship with Prema Racing, and I look forward to seeing how they leverage our cutting-edge technologies over the coming racing seasons. »
As a reminder, Prema is involved in numerous promotional formulas as well as in endurance racing categories.
