  • And the first pole position of the season goes to… Dino Beganovic (Prema). The Swede, protected from Ferrari Driver Academy, distinguished himself as the fastest man to sunset in Bahrain.
  • As always, pole position came down to the final moments where the improvements continued. Long in control of the session, Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident) finally fell back until 6e rank leaving the joys of the best time to Dino Beganovic and his lap in 1'46"431, enough to protect himself from the latest offensives of his rivals.
  • Winner in Macau last November, Luke Browning (Hitech GP) confirmed his progress with the 2e place a little less than two tenths from the poleman. Gabriele Mini (Prema) completed the Top 3.
  • The only Frenchman involved in F3 this year, Sami Meguetounif (Trident) made an impression in the Middle East. The Tricolore distinguished itself as the fastest of the Italian team, renowned for its top speed in the category, thus securing 4e place on the starting grid. His teammates Santiago Ramos and Leonardo Fornaroli followed him in the standings.
  • Twelfth this Thursday, Laurens van Hoepen (ART Grand Prix) inherited pole position in the Sprint Race.
