  • The misfortune of one person brings happiness to others, especially his teammates. At Hitech GP, Isack Hadjar's exit from the track in the final moments and the appearance of yet another red flag offered pole position to his garage neighbor Luke Browning.
  • The Briton had taken control of the session with a best lap completed in 2'05"435 a few moments before pushing back Gabriele Mini (Prema), who had dominated the first day, to only 6 thousandths confirming that the gaps are very slight in F3 on this circuit which is so demanding for the drivers. Dino Beganovic (Prema), who likes urban tracks, also claimed pole position but ultimately finished in 3rd position, less than a tenth behind Luke Browning, 0 to be precise.
  • For Isack Hadjar, the outcome of the session was inevitably salty since his exit from the track seriously damaged his car, particularly the rear. However, everything is not to be thrown away since the protégé of Red Bull secured 4th place on the starting grid for the Qualifying Race this Saturday (8:30 a.m. French time) just ahead of Marcus Armstrong (MP Motorsport). Like the Ile-de-France resident, the New Zealander was also involved in an accident in the second half of the session and was unable to get back behind the wheel.
  • As for the former winners, Richard Verschoor (Trident) and Dan Ticktum (Carlin) paid the price for these numerous neutralizations. Obviously candidates for victory, the Dutchman and the Briton will have to return to the Qualifying Race this Saturday to hope to have a chance of fighting for success on Sunday (8:00 a.m.). They finished 11th and 12th respectively.
