This is one of the questions that many people always ask themselves before leaving. 24 Hours of Le Mans. What weather will liven up this new edition of the Sarthois double clock tower?

In 2021, the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was marked by a start in the rain. On a wet track, the Toyota No. 8 had been a collateral victim of the difficult conditions since it had been harpooned by the Glickenhaus No. 708 on the first pass over the Dunlop chicane.

Therefore, we expected the rain to liven up a good part of the 89e edition but the storms quickly passed, leaving room for a dry race until the finish. This year, the 24 Hours of Le Mans should be less affected by bad weather conditions.

No rain on the horizon but a little wind

According to the latest weather reports from Météo France, this 90e edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans should take place in the dry from start to finish. The forecast calls for a somewhat overcast sky at the time of departure (16:00 p.m.) without seeing rain. The clouds will then give way to clear skies until arrival on Sunday.

As for the mercury, Météo France forecasts a maximum temperature of 24°C this Saturday and 23°C on Sunday with a drop to 16°C overnight. Note that a light wind up to 15 km/h is expected on the Le Mans route.
