If you were on the A11 this Thursday morning heading towards Le Mans from Paris, you may have come across a very special vehicle. No standard Italian sports car, or a BMW that sticks you in the left lane when you're already speeding and trying to overtake someone. But rather a racing car: the MissionH24, a prototype running on hydrogen. Surprising but true!

With a symbolic departure from Place de la Concorde, in front of the Automobile Club de France, another reference in the history of motor sports, the H24 then took the A11 motorway, passing through the Saint-Arnoult toll gate. -en-Yvelines, well known to drivers. The H24, driven by Stéphane Richelmi, was accompanied in this adventure by a support vehicle, also using hydrogen, supplied by its partner Symbio, the European technological and industrial leader in hydrogen fuel cells.

With the support of Vinci Autoroutes, the Prefecture of Sarthe, the Prefecture of Yvelines and the security forces to ensure the smooth running of the operation and the protection of all users, this demonstration of the zero-emission hydrogen competition on the road bears witness to the contribution of theEndurance, 24 hours of Le Mans, as well as a number of players in global mobility.
