  • The 2024 European season Le Mans Series began this Sunday April 14 with the 4 Hours of Barcelona. The Swiss COOL Racing team won in Catalonia with the No. 37 led by Lorenzo Fluxa, Ritomo Miyata and Malthe Jakobsen.

  • The Spaniard put his team on the right track by surprising Filip Ugran during a race restart following a Full Course Yellow deployed after only fifteen minutes of racing. The Romanian from the United Autosports team started from pole position after Ben Hanley's performance during the qualifying session the day before.
  • The Swiss team dominated the rest of the event and was never worried until the checkered flag. Algarve Pro Racing (Matthias Kaiser, Olli Caldwell, Alex Lynn) and United Autosports (Ugran, Hanley, Marino Sato) completed the podium.
  • In LM P2 Pro-Am, the AF Corse team won with François Perrodo, Matthieu Vaxiviere and Alessio Rovera ahead of Richard Mille by TDS (Rodrigo Sales, Mathias Beche, Grégoire Saucy) and Nielsen Racing (John Falb , Albert Costa, Colin Noble).
  • In GT3, everything changed 45 minutes from time. There Porsche of the Iron Dames, largely dominant from the start, stopped at the exit of the pit lane because of a nut problem on the right side while Michelle Gatting had just taken over from Rahel Frey. The misadventure of the female trio gave victory to the No. 296 Formula Racing Ferrari 50 driven by Danes Johnny Laursen, Conrad Laursen and Nicklas Nielsen. The firm of Maranello signed a double with GR Racing (Michael Wainwright, Riccardo Pera, Davide Rigon). The Lamborghini Iron Lynx (Hiroshi Hamaguchi, Axcill Jefferies, Andrea Caldarelli) took third place.
  • Team Virage took victory in the LM P3 category with Julien Gerbi, Bernardo Pinheiro and Gillian Henrion.
