ELMS – Oak enters two Morgans at Donington

After taking sixth place with the #24 Morgan-Judd at Paul-Ricard, Oak Racing will field a second LMP2, this time powered by Nissan, at the 6 Hours of Donington which will take place this week. The #35 Morgan which was already lined up for the 6 Hours of Spa and the 24 Hours of Le Mans will this time be shared by Olivier Pla, Bertrand Baguette and Dimitri Enjalbert who will take his first steps behind the wheel of a prototype. Matthieu Lahaye will support boss Jacques Nicolet on the No. 24 following the accident of Guillaume Moreau who is currently continuing his rehabilitation at Le Mans.

Dimitri Enjalbert will have to transcribe his experience of touring cars on the Morgan LMP1 which he will drive for the first time this week on the British circuit. The 27-year-old Frenchman intends to make an impression by competing in his first event in ELMS. ?It?s a great opportunity and it?s very rewarding to be able to ride with a team like OAK Racing. This is my first participation in ELMS and also my first time behind the wheel of an LMP2. Donington promises to be a great race. I like taking on new challenges, but this time it will be about getting into the swing of things quickly. As a silver driver, I am well aware of the mission entrusted to me by Sébastien Philippe (Team Principal of the Sarthe team) and I will put all the chances on my side to be up to the task. I am very proud to team up with drivers as talented as Olivier Pla and Bertrand Baguette. »
