In the LM P2 category, everything is still possible since the points scored on the Road Atlanta circuit will count double. Nothing is decided for the Thiriet by TDS Racing team which currently leads the championship. Its biggest rival will be Oak Racing, which is 19 points behind. Status GP, Murphy Prototypes and Greaves Motorsport will also be on the trip.
In LM GTE Am, there will only be two teams on the track. The duel will oppose the Ferrari 458 Italia from AF Corse, which will line up Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Matt Griffin and Marco Cioci, and the Porsche 911 RSR (997) of the French team IMSA Matmut performance by Anthony Pons, Nicolas Armindo and Raymond Narac.
Jonny Cocker should therefore win the LM GTE Pro championship alone with the JMW Motorsport team, since there will be no car in the category for Petit Le Mans.
