Greaves Motorsport secured a hard-fought victory at Silverstone thanks to the Gibson 015S from Lancaster-Hirsch-Wirdheim.

ELMS – Victory for Greaves Motorsport at Silverstone

The 4 Hours of Silverstone, first event of the season ELMS, offered a splendid fight for victory whose outcome did not go to the advantage of Thiriet by TDS Racing. While Tristan Gommendy was doing his best to maintain first place against Jon Lancaster in the final minutes of the event, the Oreca 05 was caught by the Briton's Gibson 015S, an incident placed under investigation for a time.

Jon Lancaster, the poleman of the race competing with Bjorn Wirdheim and Gary Hirsch, nevertheless shone in the race, notably delivering a magnificent duel against Harry Tincknell at the wheel of the Jota Sport Gibson 015S. Greaves Motorsport thus won ahead of Jota Sport and Thiriet by TDS Racing winner in 2014.

Gulf Racing wins in GTE with the Porsche of Wainwright-Carroll-Keen after taking the lead in the category from the start of the event. The category podium is completed by the Ferrari No. 66 of JMW Motorsport of Richardson-Smith-Tordoff and the No. 55 AF Corse of Cameron-Griffin-Scott. TDS Racing will console itself with the GTC victory of Perera-Lunardi-Dermont.

Team LNT achieves the very first success in LMP3 history by signing a double with the victory of Robertson-Hoy ahead of Simpson-Paletou.
