Loeb Racing chooses Sarrazin and Minassian

The Sebastian Loeb Racing doesn't come in ELMS only to gain experience in Endurance. By hiring Stéphane Sarrazin and Nicolas Minassian on the Oreca 03 alongside Nicolas Marroc (as we exclusively announced), the eight-time world champion acknowledges wanting to fight for the title. The two former pilots Peugeot have extensive experience in the discipline, Nicolas Marroc having finished runner-up in 2008 while Stéphane Sarrazin won in LM2 twice in 2007 and 2010.

For Sébastien Loeb, this choice will allow the team to compete for victory by exploiting the experience and speed of these two top drivers. “Nicolas and Stéphane, it’s the choice of performance and experience”, explains Sébastien Loeb. “They form a formidable duo, at the top of endurance. I had the opportunity to measure myself against them during tests and I know their qualities perfectly. They are used to racing to win a big manufacturer. Having them as part of our team is a great opportunity. With such spearheads, the team will progress even faster. We can rely on an experience that is priceless. On the other hand, we will have no excuse: we have the crew to win. »
