TDS Racing convinces at Le Castellet

After taking pole at the 6 Hours of Le Castellet, Mathias Beche only had to control the attacks of the Lola B12/80 Coupé-Judd of Yelmer Buurman. Nevertheless, the Status GP driver managed to gain an advantage over the Oreca 03-Nissan. A strategy race then took place with Grevaes Motorsport and Sébastien Loeb Racing. The No. 46 was the fastest and the bonnet change made at the end of the race did not prevent Pierre Thiriet from crossing the finish line one lap ahead of Sébastien?s Oreca 03-Nissan. Loeb Racing.

For Xavier Combet, the team?s team manager, this result is proof that Thiriet by TDS Racing will be able to compete this season with other teams with more experience. “The team and drivers were perfect, the strategy was good and the car was perfect. This result is the fruit of the work over the winter and it confirms the potential of our team. We are definitively establishing our place in the world ofEndurance. Last year, we surprised with our two victories. This year, despite a higher level of drivers and teams, we continued our momentum, not least by winning pole position, the fastest lap in the race and victory. We are becoming a benchmark team in LMP2. »
