TDS Racing tests the new Oreca LMP2

TDS Racing has taken control of the new Oreca 03-Nissan with which Mathias Beche and Pierre Thiriet will compete for the ELMS title and category victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Team Thiriet by TDS Racing went to Paul-Ricard HTTT last week to discover the new Oreca 03-Nissan LMP2 developed for the 2012 season. The French team carried out two days of private testing to observe the developments made to the new prototype produced by the Var manufacturer and getting used to the new Dunlop tires. The official tests will take place again at Paul-Ricard on March 9 and 10 before the inaugural event which will be contested on the French circuit at the end of the month.

The Oreca 03-Nissan n°46 will be entered for the 2012 season of ELMS as well as 24 Hours of Le Mans with the French Pierre Thiriet the Swiss Mathias Beche. TDS Racing took third place in the Teams Championship last year (fourth position in the Drivers' Championship) and will undoubtedly look to achieve better results this season, now that LMP2 represents the premier category of the discipline.
