Ferdinand Habsburg injured in Aragon with Alpine

The test session organized by Alpine on the MotorLand Aragon track (Spain) last week was marked by Ferdinand Habsburg's exit from the track on Wednesday March 27 in the afternoon. The Austrian found himself in an accident at turn 7. The exact causes are still being investigated by the French manufacturer.

The pilot was sent to Alcaniz hospital for further examinations, before returning to Austria the next day. Habsburg suffers from two fractured vertebrae without neurological impact. He must logically observe a period of convalescence and recovery of indefinite duration, which will condition his participation in the 6 Hours of Imola on April 21.

In case of package, it could be replaced in theAlpine A424 n°35 by Jules Gounon, reservist of the French manufacturer in WEC.
