Giorgio Sanna is leaving his role as head of motorsport at Lamborghini with immediate effect. The Italian is replaced in this position by Rouven Mohr.

Surprise announcement this Thursday, March 14. In a short statement, Lamborghini announces that Giorgio Sanna is resigning from his role as Head of Motorsport with immediate effect, a position he has held since 2015. His duties will now be taken over on an interim basis by Dr. Rouven Mohr, alongside his current role as Technical Director within the motorsport department of the Sant'Agata Bolognese brand (Italy). The Italian manufacturer did not provide further details about this change.
