ALMS – Pickett Racing unbeatable at Mosport

Pickett Racing scored another success at Mosport Park at the wheel of the HPD ARX-03a which started from pole. Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr were once again winners, beating the Dyson Racing Lola B12/60-Mazda driven by Chris Dyson and Guy Smith by ten seconds. Conquest Racing signs its first success in LMP2 with Martin Plowman and David Heinemeier-Hansson winning the category in the Morgan-Nissan and third in the general classification. The Level 03 Motorsport HPD ARX-5b failed at the foot of the podium with Christophe Bouchut and Scott Tucker, the Frenchman having received a penalty for crossing the pit exit line.

The fight for victory was still very competitive in GT since it was on the last lap that the positions were established. First place goes to the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR from the Flying Lizard driven by Jorg Bergmeister and Patrick Long who won his second success in a row. Johannes van Overbeek places the Ferrari Extreme Speed's F458 Italia in second place taking advantage of Jan's Corvette C6 ZR1 Magnussen in the last moments. The second Corvette of Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin retired due to transmission problems. The Flying Lizard's Porsche was ultimately excluded following a violation of the technical regulations, thus giving Extreme Speed victory on the green carpet. Bruno Junqueira and Tomy Drissi take their first victory in the LMPC category. Michael Vaillante and Chris Cumming missed victory in GTC following mechanical problems in the final moments of the race. Spencer Pumpelly and Emilio do Guida took the opportunity to take first place.
