The world championshipEndurance FIA and theIMSA offer very different shows on the track. When will the last season of WEC was subjected to hegemony Toyota with six victories in seven races, including some real walks in the park, the North American series manages to keep the suspense at its peak until the very last moments of a day-long event. At the final 24 Hours of Daytona (January 27/28), Porsche thus won with only a two-second margin over Cadillac. How to explain it? Specific regulations already, with a Full Course Yellow procedure which may seem a little long, but which has the merit of putting everyone back in the order of the classification in order to enrich the spectacle when it restarts. Indeed, for our American friends, nothing is more important than the show.
