The MissionH24 program has reached a new stage in its development process. The H24 electric-hydrogen propulsion prototype, which prepares the arrival of a category reserved for hydrogen vehicles during 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025, took part in its first race as part of the second round of the 2022 season of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, a championship where the prototype, recently approved for competition, was used to calibrating itself during the testing sessions. Free Practice last season.
“The whole process before the race is exactly what I experienced before, but to do it with this car and this team means a lot”, explains Stéphane Richelmi, who drove the car for the entire hour and fifty minutes of the race, whose impressions you can find in the video below.
The next meeting for H24 Racing will be Road to Le Mans, alongside the 24 Hours of Le Mans during two races scheduled for Thursday June 9 and Saturday June 11. The Monegasque will share the wheel with Frenchman Norman Nato, regular WRT driver in the LM P2 category of WEC.
