Snowboarding pros will meet this weekend in the Isola 2000 resort for two days of e-competition.Andros Trophy Friday and Saturday. The circuit which hosts the 3rd Trophy stage is certainly the most technical of the season with its famous snail turn.
Timetables for the Isola 2000 round
In the Elite Pro category, JB Dubourg (#1 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing), Dorian Boccolacci (#3 – AS01 – Sébastien Loeb Racing) and Yann Ehrlacher (#68 – AS01 Dupessey – Mracing) will be chasing leader Aurélien Panis (#38 – Audi A1 Isère – Sainteloc Racing). They will be welcomed at home by the stage local, Christophe Ferrier (#06 – Métropole Nice – DRP), who distinguished himself by winning the first day of racing in Andorra.
Margot Laffite (#9 – AS01 – Sébastien Loeb Racing) parades at the top of the general classification of the Elite category, closely followed by her Canal+ colleague Julien Febreau (#16 – Renault Zoé – DA Racing) and Sylvain Pussier (#63 – Peugeot e208 – SP Competition).
Two new crews appear during this stage: the first from DRP composed of Adrien Tambay, e-TCR world champion and ice connoisseur, and Steve Leiber, European Drift champion who came to replace respectively Adrien fourmaux, retained by the preparation of the Monte Carlo and Mathieu Baumel engaged in the Dakar. The second crew, from the Saintéloc team, will see the return of the ever-green Hervé Knapick, a big regular in the Andros e-Trophy and legend of the Rallycross, who will be accompanied in Elite by his daughter Anne-Sophie de Ganay.
To the delight of spectators, the acrobatic pilots of the AMV Cup will be there. The general classification is still led by 2022 winner Vivien Gonnet ahead of Romain Gioffre and Johan Nigon.
