Al-Attiyah-Baumel took their third stage victory in a row at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and further extend their lead in the World Championship (W2RC).

Les jours se suivent et se ressemblent l’Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge (ADDC). Après avoir remporté les deux dernières spéciales, Nasser Al-Attiyah et Mathieu Baumel (Toyota) en ont ajouté une troisième de suite autour de Qasr Al Sarab. Une démonstration qui ne se ressent cependant pas au classement général, à cause d’un bras de suspension cassé dès les premiers kilomètres de l’épreuve. Le Qatari et le Français ont devancé Sébastien Loeb and Fabian Lurquin (BRX) of 3'01" and Al Rajhi-von Zitzewitz (Overdrive Racing) of 8'04". Fourth at 12'41", Stéphane Peterhansel and Édouard Boulanger (Team Audi Sport) increased their lead at the top of the general classification over Prokop-Chytka (Benzina Orlen Team), now at 33'21". Prygonski-Gottschalk (X-Raid Mini JCW Team) completely took the podium at 1'28"31.
