Title holder, Mickaël Reydellet (Fabia Rally2) showed his ambitions by winning the first special stage held at night. Alas, the Skoda driver made a mistake in SS 2 and lost any chance of victory.

Leader at the end of SS 2, Eric Brunson (C3 Rally2) could not contain the attack of Marc Amourette (C3 Rally2) in the following special. The latter took the opportunity to take the head of the rally.

From then on, Amourette and Brunson launched into a duel with every second, but Amourette resisted the pressure from his opponent to sign his first victory in this event.

Also entered at the wheel of a C3 Rally2, Olivier Ural completed the final podium on Saturday evening.

Antoine Margely (Lancer Evo IX) and Franck Villey (C3 Rally2) closed the Top 5 of this 15th edition of the Lisieux Rally.
