Yoann Bonato will ride with Benoit Tréluyer’s Trajectus Motorsport

There will therefore be a new entity in the 2024 French rally championship which promises to be very interesting. Running for 9 years within CHL Sport Auto, Yoann Bonato was forced to leave when the latter obtained programs with Hyundai in France and in WRC2. Citroën having decided to suspend its support for this team, the 2 Alpes driver looked for another solution to continue working with the French manufacturer.

« When we found ourselves without a team at the beginning of January, the first I called was Benoit Tréluyer, explains Yoann Bonato. We have known each other well for several years, he had just launched his on the circuit and he is a sportsman who masters high level and performance. Above all, we wanted to create a real human adventure with this project. This will be the case with the trusted people who will surround us this season. » In a very short time, the two men followed by Yoann's partners put together a program including the rounds of the French championship and three races in ERC.

We will have to get used to seeing Bonato and Boulloud racing under the colors of Trajectus Motorsport, the structure of Benoit Tréluyer. “ We met in Les 2 Alpes where I based the Tréluyer chalet intended for the physical preparation of high-level athletes, explains the former Audi driver. He contacted me at the beginning of January and it didn't take long to convince me. We worked hard to put together the project, which was subsequently endorsed by Citroën Racing. An opportunity like this cannot be refused. Yoann and Benjamin come with a good number of people who surround them and have trusted them for years. Without this, I would not have embarked on the adventure. There, I will be able to rely on a group of professionals seasoned in the challenges of the discipline. However, the pressure will be on since they are reigning champions. What gives me confidence is that we have the same way of seeing things, of approaching our sport. The first meeting for Bonato, Boulloud and Trajectus Motorsport is scheduled for March 14-16 with the rally of Touquet.
