Robert Wickens (Carlin) led the race from start to finish after starting from pole. His rival and teammate Jean-Éric Vergne moved up from 9th position on the grid to maintain his chances of victory by finishing second ahead of Daniil Move (P1 Motorsport).
The Canadian can secure the title if he wins tomorrow in the last race of the season since he has a nine-point lead. A victory for the Frenchman, on the other hand, will be imperative without his teammate doing better than 3rd for the coronation to go to the driver. Red Bull.
