The first Michelin event Le Mans Cup 2018, organized at Paul-Ricard on April 14, will pit 29 cars divided into 22 LM P3s and 7 GT3s. DKR Engineering will defend its proto crown with its Norma M30 entrusted to the duo Léonard Hoogenboom – Jens Petersen.
Among the French teams entered, DB Autosport will field two Norma M30s, while Graff Racing will mix between a Norma and a Ligier JS P3. CD Sport will rely on a Norma M30, on which Anthony Pons, 2017 Blancpain GT Sports Club champion, is entered, and N'Race will operate a Ligier JS P3.
In GT3, a duel will be between Porsche et Ferrari, with six Italian cars, five 488s and a 458 Italia facing a single 911 GT3 R, fielded by the outgoing champions Ebimotors.
