That's it, the European season is over. Now on to Singapore, Japan, Brazil and Abu Dhabi. Before heading to his home Grand Prix at Suzuka, Kamui Kobayashi will be keen to shine this weekend.
“I have never driven in Singapore, says the Sauber driver. But I know the route thanks to the simulator. I attended the last two editions as a reservist with Toyota. For an urban circuit, it is a fairly long route. The atmosphere there is exceptional. I have only driven at night once in the past, it was in February 2009, in GP2, in Qatar. I finished fourth but I mainly remember a sandstorm. I think that in pure performance we will be better than at Monza. I admit that I would like to go to my home Grand Prix at Suzuka with a good result in my pocket. It?s quite exciting to have a new teammate and I?m curious to work with Nick. »
