The new format of meetings of the DTM has just been revealed: the free practice day on Friday will only see the F3 of the FIA European Championship, the German Carrera Cup, the Scirocco R-Cup and other possible supporting series. In an effort to reduce costs, DTM cars will only be entitled to one 90′ free session on Saturday morning.
DTM qualifying will now take place on Saturday at 14:40 p.m. and the start of the race will be on Sunday at 13:30 p.m.
