Nico Varrone has been confirmed as part of the Frikadelli Racing crew for his first participation in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Big piece that Frikadelli Racing has caught for the 24 2024 Hours of Nürburgring (May 30-June 2). Title holder of the double clock tower of the Green Hell on the Ferrari 296 GT3 No. 30, the Klaus Abbelen team has secured the services of Nico Varrone, 2023 LMGTE Am champion in WEC and winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023, with this 52 edition.

« Thanks to Klaus Abbelen for this opportunity and the trust he has in me, » rejoiced the Argentinian, about to compete in his first 24 Hours of the Nürburgring. In the Eifel, Nico Varrone will share Frikadelli's Ferrari with Daniel Keilwitz, Luca Ludwig and Felipe Fernandez Laser.

His season in IMSA finished after the withdrawal of one of AWA Racing's Corvettes financially supported by Anthony Mantella, the South American will have the opportunity to continue riding. First meeting this weekend with the qualifying race for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

As a reminder, Nico Varrone is also expected at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the No. 07 AF Corse Oreca 183 alongside François Perrodo and Ben Barnicoat.
