Starting behind the three Maserati MC 12s, Enrique Bernoldi (Corvette no. 8) and Oliver Gavin (Corvette no. 3) took the lead after twenty minutes of racing. Mike Hezemans (Corvette No. 4) is fourth. Maserati places its three cars in 3rd, 5th and 6th position.
Starting in 15th position, Patrick Pilet is now ninth, at the wheel of the Porsche 997 n°70 of the team IMSA Performance. He leads in the GT2 category.
