For its second year of existence, Extreme E will offer a calendar combining countries already visited and new trips. The electric SUV championship, which dedicated Johan Kristoffersson and Molly Taylor in 2021, will begin next year in Neom (Saudi Arabia, February 19-20).

Sardinia returns to the program (May 7-8) before a choice between Scotland and Senegal on July 9 and 10. Canceled due to the coronavirus, trips to Antofagasta (Chile, September 10-11) and Punta del Este (Uruguay, November 26-27), will be offered in the second half of the season.

Alejandro Agag, CEO and Founder of Extreme E, said: “We can’t wait to revisit some of the incredible locations of the 2021 season to see for ourselves the positive impact of our Electric Series and see what more we can bring to the people there.” We also have high hopes of adding South America to our list of continents, and with visits planned to Chile and Uruguay, this is shaping up to be another exciting season. »
