After his two abandonments at the Tour de Corse and at the Rally from the Azores, Guy Wilks only occupies sixth place in the Championship, 36 points behind leader Juho Hänninen (Skoda). Marc van Dalen, the director of the Kronos team which is preparing the Peugeot 207 S2000 from the Briton, however, ensures that the title remains playable.
“Everything remains possible with all the remaining rallies, notably the Scottish Rally and the Cyprus Rally where more points will be up for grabs”, explains Marc van Dalen. “It is very important that Guy is on the podium in Zlin (August 26-28), but he has the speed to do it and we know the car has a good level. We are all behind him because we win and we lose with him. I know Guy is 100% motivated to win and we are too. »
