Peugeot won the 1000 km of Silverstone, the last round of the Le Mans Series and first race of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. The No. 908 1 HDi FAP of Nicolas Minassian and Anthony Davidson led from start to finish, taking an uncontested victory. Peugeot secures a new double thanks to the second place of the 908 HDi FAP n°4 of Nicolas lapierre and Stéphane Sarrazin, the latter obtaining the “drivers” title of Le Mans Series champion. The Silverstone podium is completed by the No. 15 Audi R8 TDI of Dindo Capello and Timo Bernhard.
