Jan Kopecky (Skoda) wins the Jännerrallye by beating Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot ) in the last special of the Austrian event contested in darkness and fog. The Czech won by only five tenths ahead of the Frenchman. Raimund Baumschlager (Skoda) completes the podium ahead of the Mini JCW S2000 of Vaclav Pech and the Mitsubishi of Beppo Harrach, first in the Production category. François Delecour (Peugeot) took seventh place behind the Subaru of Kajetan Kajetanowicz. Hannes Danzinger wins the two-wheel drive category with his Renault Clio R3.
