The 2012 IRC season will see the regulations evolve significantly. With a calendar extended by two events, it will no longer be the seven but the eight best results of the crews which will be counted at the end of the year. Furthermore, S2000 cars powered by a 1.6 liter turbo and equipped with a 30mm flange will be eligible for points. THE Rally of Cyprus will remain a big meeting of the season since it will offer double the points.
