Africa Eco Race – Crews ready for departure

The first stage of the Africa Eco Race 2015 will begin next Tuesday, but administrative and technical checks will begin tomorrow in Saint-Cyprien in the Eastern Pyrenees.

Africa Eco Race – Crews ready for departure

The great departure ofAfrica Eco Race 2015 will be given tomorrow for the fourth consecutive year at Saint-Cyprien in the Eastern Pyrenees. After the technical checks which will take place all day Sunday, the departure will be given at 18:30 p.m. for a transfer during the day Monday across Spain to Motril before taking the boat to arrive at Morocco and Nador, scene of the start of the first real day of racing next Tuesday.

Twelve steps concocted by Rene Metge and his team will wait for the participants who will cross Morocco and Mauritania before an arrival scheduled for January 11 in Dakar, Senegal. In cars, in the absence of Jean Louis Schlesser, vainqueur des six précédentes éditions, les regards se tourneront notamment vers le Belge Jacky Loomans et son pick-up Toyota Overdrive.
