Africa Eco Race – Miroslav Zapletal takes the lead
Miroslav Zapletal (Hummer) regained the lead of the Africa Eco Race at the end of the fourth stage linking Assa to AS Sakn (Morocco) which he won. The Czech completed the 379km timed in 4h00'04, five minutes ahead of Mathieu Serradoni's Buggy Predator and eight minutes ahead of Yuriy Sazonov (Hummer) who fell to second place in the general classification with six minutes behind.
Jacques Loomans (Toyota Hilux), le vainqueur de l’étape précédente, a été plus en retrait en ne prenant que la cinquième place à 12 minutes de la référence. Le Belge complète toujours le podium provisoire avec une bonne avance sur le Toyota de Kanat Shagirov.
