Africa Eco Race - Sabatier went to the end

Jean-Antoine Sabatier won the Africa Eco Race with a good lead over his rivals. The podium is completed by the Kamazes of Anton Shibalov and Sergey Kuprianov.

Africa Eco Race – Sabatier went to the end

Jean-Antoine Sabatier (Bugga One) savors his success in the Africa Eco Race after having reached Dakar from St Louis (Senegal) without incident. The Frenchman thus succeeds Jean-Louis Schlesser after having completed 6837km including 3430 in chrono. The winner was able to complete the event without any particular pressure since his rivals were relegated several hours later.

The podium is completed by trucks with the Kamaz of Russians Anton Shibalov and Sergey Kuprianov. THE Toyota of Kanat Shagirov fails in fourth position more than four hours behind the leader, while his compatriot Yuriy Sazonov (Hummer H3) completes the top five more than five hours behind.
