Fernando Alonso and Marc Coma will contest the Rally of Morocco 2019 (October 3-9) as a new stage of preparation for a very likely participation in the 2020 Dakar in Saudi Arabia. The Spanish duo will operate aboard a Toyota Hilux prepared by the Belgian Overdrive team.
In total, nine Hilux 4x4s will attack the five stages in the North African desert. The double winners of the Dakar, Nasser Al-Attiyah and Mathieu Baumel, will obviously be there. The Qatari also offered an accelerated learning course to the Asturian after a rough participation in the Lichtenburg 400.

Fernando Alonso will discover during the Morocco Rally the importance of navigation. Indeed, the event led by David Castera made it the keystone of his rally-raid, with a more important place given to the road book and the relegation of GPS to “assistance to the competitor”.
The team @overdriveracing Toyota will be present on the Rallye du Maroc with 9 cars! There will obviously be last year's winners, Nasser Al Attiya/Mathieu Baumel and a surprise...
