Aurélien Panis ahead of Olivier Panis in Andorra

Pas de la Casa was not spoiled by the weather this weekend. The first stopover in Andorra was suspended yesterday but the drivers were able to tackle the circuit on the slopes of Envalira this Saturday, to the advantage of Aurélien Panis and Saintéloc Racing.

Best time in the qualifying heats, the WTCR driver had seen his father Olivier (Sébastien Loeb Racing) win the benchmark time in Super Pole, putting the two members of the family on equal points before the final.

A decisive session where Aurélien controlled the proceedings, winning ahead of his father and Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (DA Racing). Nicholas Cheers (DA Racing) and Olivier Pernaut (Saintéloc Racing) complete the top 5, while Franck Lagorce (Muller Racing), 6th in the Super Final, however retains fourth place in the race standings behind the trio Panis – Panis – Dubourg.

In the provisional general classification of the e-Andros Trophy 2019-2020, Aurélien Panis is now ahead of Jean-Baptiste Dubourg by 14 points, Yann Ehrlacher (Muller Racing), less lively than in Val Thorens at Pas de la Casa, remaining 3rd.

In Elite, Stéphane Ventaja won the race ahead of Julien Fébreau and Sylvain Pussier.
